Announcement of the JEOL:

You will discover in this poster the first test from the UD TEM from IPCMS.
This TEM is unique, its aim is not to break the spatial resolution limit but the temporal resolution limit!
Thanks to the 2 modes (stroboscopic and single shot) this new type of TEM will investigate the transition phenomena from the microsecond to the femtosecond.
The technic and the results are explained in this didactic poster written by Florian Banhart (IPCMS), Guillaume Brunetti (JEOL) and Dan Masiel (IDES).
This UD TEM is the only TEM in the world.
