High pressure freezing machine Leica EMPACT2

Institute of Molecular Genetics of the CAS is selling the Leica EMPACT2 high-pressure freezing machine for vitrifying samples up to 200 µm in thickness. The instrument was purchased in 2008, was regularly maintained and is fully operational. The accessories include sets for freezing of suspension cells, pieces of tissue in 3 mm discs or in membrane carriers, adherent cells on sapphire discs, tubing system for suspensions, and tools for freezing flat specimens like plant leaves.
