Global company TESCAN ORSAY HOLDING developing and manufacturing scientific instruments, mainly Scanning Electron Microscopes, their modules and accessories is seeking for a new college to TEM team - Application Specialist TEM.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Designs new applications in conjunction with TEM R&D department (Physicists, Electronics Design Engineers, SW Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers and Application Specialists,
- Participates on meetings with key clients, presents on specialized conferences, fairs and other events related to company activities both in the Czech Republic and abroad
- Processes documents for R&D departments
- Performs experimental testing and verification of physical functions of microscopes
- Creates application sheets and methods
Requirements:
- University degree in physics – material engineering, physics of solid particles, physical engineering
- Knowledge of particle optics is an advantage not essential
- Experience with TEM or SEM application is an advantage not essential
- Orientation in related fields, ability to adopt and utilize new knowledge and findings
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to find creative solutions and overcome unexpected obstacles,
- Resistance to stress
- Ability to transform ideas into practical solutions
- Communicative knowledge of English (written and spoken)
